About Paradise Cove
A great beach for tide pooling and wading this chunk of the famed Malibu coast is most well known for the Paradise Cove Beach Cafe that provides food and parking. The beach itself is a little rough but has a quiet feel that still makes it popular. A good setting off point for kayaking you will also find people who have paddled from nearby beaches to Paradise Cove to visit the cafe, and who then paddle away again later.
Really the main attraction here is the Paradise Cove has Cafe and the pier. You can rent beach umbrellas, sun loungers and so on from the cafe, but if you just want to go tidepooling and look for wildlife on the shore then that's great too. The private pier attracts lots of seabirds and walking along the pier is a great photo op as well.
Restrooms, garbage cans, and other facilities are part of the cafe. There are lifeguards on duty but they also work for the cafe.
The beach area itself is public and anybody can visit either by walking from a nearby beach, kayaking in, or walking from the road. However the real reason to go here is to use the facilities of the cafe.
Food: Eat at the Paradise Cove Beach Cafe and get discounted parking in their parking lot.
